This listing is for acute little medicine bag with the power of the pheasant. It is made of green and rust deerskin with the green on the front of the bag and the rust on the back and the front flap.  Beautiful colors together.  There is a tuft of pheasant feather on the front, a tribal edge burned on to the flap and a handful of copper beads in the fringe.

The pouch is 4" X 5" with the fringe extending to 13" X 13".  The necks tap is a piece of green deerskin that is knotted so that it is adjustable.,

Here is a little info about medicine bags.  A medicine bag isn't exactly what it sounds like.   To Native American a medicine bag was a sacred item, a talisman, or amulet.  They were known to carry the "medicine" of that person, which is to say that they would contain the items that were most sacred to that person....things that brought them protection, strength, memories, etc. Typical items used in a traditional medicine bag were herbs, stones, and animal items.  One someone fills the medicine bag it became sacred and is not to be shared with anyone.
