Here we have a "witchy" pillow. Black and purple deerskin with fringe all around. This pillow first starts with the moon. White deerskin sewn onto the front with a cloudy purple haze. At the top of the moon is an amethyst crystal. In front of the moon is a crow. The wingspan is lined with amethyst stones.
I chose amethyst for this pillow to offer you protection, especially psychic protection and spiritual awareness. It will also connect you through the Crown Chakra. It is full of healing properties, enhances intuition and will help you with spiritual growth and bring balance to your life.
Inside the moon there are my prayer herbs. You can feel them inside the moon.
Cedar for purification, protection, prayer and healing. Bear berry leaf to carry the prayers to the Great Spirit. Red Willow bark for prayers, spiritual protection, and respect. Spearmint leaf to pair with ancestral herbs. Lavender for love devotion, silence, and tranquility. Sage (white and desert) for purification and cleaning. Sweetgrass for protection and healing, and ceremonial tobacco.
The deerskin that is on the bag is a symbol of gentleness and unconditional love. The deer shows the ability to move through life's obstacles with grace.
This is like an overgrown wish pillow that I make. I put the amethyst point on the tip of the moon so that you can touch it to make your wish. Some of my smaller wish pillows have pockets on the back too. I opted not to do this on this pillow but if that is something that you want please let me know, I can probably add one.
Also notice that there are areas of purple fringe too and even feathers on the bottom right peppered in the fringe. Also in the fringe you will see a natural hole. They have different meanings to different people but it could be a portal, it could symbolize loss, or you could fill it with something. If you choose to fill it, let me know and I will send along a piece for the back so that you can glue it in.
