This felted leather wall hanging is honoring the tree!
Indiana has over 100 native tree species and I love them all!! Iv'e sat under them, swung from them, hugged them and while sitting in the glorious shade, talked to them. And these trees are my inspiration for this wall hanging.
The main body of this piece is felted out of sheep and alpaca wool roving with saddle deerskin offering fringe all the way around. It hangs on a piece of driftwood. You want it.....I know you do.....My fellow tree huggers. And did you know that hugging a tree....no kidding...reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and gives you a release of oxytocin which is the hormone of love and trust?
