Honestly I am not sure if this is an overgrown medicine bag or a mini festival bag. Whatever it will be when it grows up I know it will be cute! It is made out of tobacco leather with a crossbody strap so you can wear it like a purse. It is 4 1/2" X 4 3/4" in the pocket with fringe all the way around. The fringe hangs down 10" below the seam and the fringe is all the way around.
This is beautiful antique chevron beads in the center with a few more peppered in the fringe along with African trade beads. All in navy blue, red and white. There are also navy baby feathers painted with red and white as well. Perhaps it is an American bag!
The strap is about an inch wide with a tie so that you can adjust it. Right now it has a 28" drop and can be worn over the shoulder or crossbody.
