I am in love with this one! This is made of sacred bison leather and what goes better with bison than some tradition! This one has a removable medicine bag on the front! First about the bag, It is a sort of bucket style with fringe on one side and the bottom. The bag itself is 9" X 10". the strap is a braided shoulder strap with a 14" drop.
On the front is a handmade pottery bead. It has a large hole and could have more tied onto it as well but for now it has a removable medicine bag made of elk. This little bag is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" with short little fringe. it has a drawstring too with a matching terra cotta bead to cinch it up. The little strap on the medicine bag can be unknotted and it can be completely free from the bag. It has a lot of character and a lot of texture.
There is no closure on it, but it's not really needed. the bison grips things well and unless you turn it upside down nothing is coming out. Usually bison is heavy and this is heavier than deerskin but overall, not as heavy as you would think. It is durable too so if you are hard on purses then this might be for you!
